There are many ways your corporation can support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota. Here are some of the most common types of corporate support:
- Donate Money Through Philanthropy - For many corporations this is the easiest way to contribute to Make-A-Wish Foundation. A cash gift is quick, easy and tax-deductible.
- Employee Matching - Many corporations match employee contributions to nonprofit organizations, thereby doubling the impact of your donation. Some corporations take it a step further by also matching employee volunteer time with “Dollars for Doers” programs. Studies have shown that this boosts morale, creates team spirit while allowing your corporation to give back to the community. Please check with your company's human resources or finance office for details.
- Cause Marketing Partnerships – Your corporation can generate both sales and goodwill by publicizing the fact that you will donate a portion of your sales to Make-A-Wish Foundation. This can drive sales and provide wishes for Minnesota children with lift-threatening medical conditions. Please inquire about these opportunities.
- Sponsor an Event - Become a sponsor for a Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota event. Sponsorships are available for our Stories of Light holiday giving campaign, the Wish Ball – our spring, black-tie gala, Walk for Wishes, our summer family walk or Delicious Wishes, our fall food & wine event. - Workplace Giving - Your employees can give to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota through payroll deductions programs. We are happy to talk with you about attending your campaign kick-off events.
- Donate Pro-bono or In-Kind Services - Donate your products or services to help Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota. This option helps us reduce the cost of business and allows us to grant more wishes!
- Customer Gifts - Instead of sending promotional or holiday gifts to each of your clients, a donation can be made in their name and we will send them a card telling them of your generosity.
