Donavan

Though only four-years-old, you could never guess it by his wish. Donavan, battling drenoleukodystrophy, from St. Paul, wishes to go to Hawaii. Unlike other boys his age who would look forward to watching the waves from afar while making sand castles, Donavan can’t wait to jump in the tide and learn how to surf! His favorite movie is Surf’s Up where he loves to watch the scene with the surfing penguins, so Donavan can’t wait to emulate his favorite characters and try to sport out for himself! While there, Donavan also wants to take his hand at swimming with his other favorite aquatic animals: dolphins.
