Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for a wish, the child must:
- have a life-threatening medical condition (defined as progressive, degenerative or malignant, determined by child’s doctor)
- live in the state of Minnesota
- not have had a previous wish granted by Make-A-Wish or any other wish-granting organization
- be between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 years of age at the time of referral.
Once referred, the Make-A-Wish Foundation will talk to the child’s physician and confirm that he/she is eligible to have a wish granted.
Make-A-Wish grants the wish of every eligible child regardless of race, religion, financial or socio-economic status.

About Wish Referral Privacy:

"Conor's Make-A-Wish to meet Brett Favre in Green Bay was an incredible experience that was way beyond what we had imagined. From start to finish, Make-A-Wish and the Packers made it a trip that we will never forget. During Conor's toughest times right now he can look back and think about that great weekend and it makes him smile. We are very grateful!"
-Tim and Hope Smith, Conor’s parents
