Kayley... I wish to be in a movie!
Kayley, from Hayfield, MN has been diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma but has always dreamed of becoming an actress. Kayley’s wish came true when she was flown to Albuquerque, New Mexico to be an extra in the upcoming comedy, Five Dollars a Day. The movie will feature Christopher Walken and Sharon Stone and was directed by Nigel Cole.
Kayley was brought to the set in a limo. She was treated to hair and make-up
done by the film’s crew. Kayley played a patron in a restaurant that was being inspected by a health inspector. The crew also invited her back to the set the day after her scene to watch Christopher’s part. In fact, the director also invited Kayley to have a small part in another upcoming film!
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota was able to make this dream a reality thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers!
