David... I wish to be a shark biologist!

 9-year-old David, from St. Michael, MN LOVES sharks. He knows everything there is to know about them. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota received David's referral after he was diagnosed with Acute Myelocytic Leukemia and had received a bone marrow transplant. He didn't need to think very long about his wish... it's something he's always dreamed about – being a shark biologist! David was treated to a behind-the-scenes experience at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California, where he got to meet actual marine biologists and feed sea turtles, rays, and even sharks! David wowed the staff at the aquarium with his knowledge of sharks, prompting one of them to say that David knows so much that he could have his job! Thanks to our generous donors, volunteers, and partners in California, David's wish to be a shark biologist came true creating memories that will last a lifetime!
