"I wish to go to Disney World to meet the princesses!"

Ella, 5, is from Woodbury. While she has been battling leukemia, she has had her heart set on a trip to Disney World to meet the Princesses, including her favorite... Ariel! Ella had a wonderful trip which was kicked off by a wish party at Maggiano's. The staff at Maggiano's treated Ella and her family to a private dinner and went above and beyond to make her wish party one she would never forget, presenting her with a beautiful Belle dress, wand, shoes, a crown, a DVD player for the plane and other goodie baskets – even one for her dog!

Ella's trip to Florida was amazing as well! It all started with a special limo ride to the airport, fabulous weather and many exciting activities at Give Kids the World. Ella was even chosen to be in the Christmas parade where she got to be the Snow Princess.

When they decided to venture away from all the fun at GKTW, they went to the Magic Kingdom, and were treated like royalty. Ella LOVED every minute of it. Meeting Princess Ariel was her favorite part!

Her family also went to Sea World, where they got to see Shamu and feed the dolphins. Ella's smile never left her face!

Many thanks to Maggiano's for a great send-off. Through their national "Eat a dish for Make-A-Wish" program in May, Maggiano's donated over $200,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation nationally.
